Hours - Full-time, 8:30AM- 5:30PM Monday - Friday
Are you an experienced receptionist with experience working in a legal or professional services environment, who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
We are looking for a friendly and client focused individual for this vital and integral role at our client who is a market leading niche family law firm.
Working well under pressure you will be experienced in dealing with a fast paced and busy switchboard, with the ability to navigate clients to the correct team member with speed and precision.
The position will suit an enthusiastic and professional individual to join the Firm on a full-time permanent basis working out of our Milton Keynes office.
Key duties:
Providing excellent Front of House Reception cover.
Meeting and greeting clients as well as internal and external visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Operating the switchboard and dealing with all incoming calls, answering them promptly in a consistent and courteous manner and transferring the calls or taking messages for the appropriate member of staff.
Managing the reception area and meeting rooms, ensuring they are always well maintained and prepared in time for each individual.
Undertaking any ad-hoc administrative tasks as and when required to support the business needs.
Monitoring and ordering office supplies when necessary.
Dealing with incoming post and packages delivered to the firm by scanning, filing, and sending this to the correct individual.
Overall providing a positive internal and external client experience from the start.

Ideally, the right candidate will:
Have previous experience of working as a receptionist in a legal or professional services environment.
Have proven knowledge and understanding of using a switchboard.
Have excellent communication skills along with a professional, pleasant, and engaging telephone manner.
Have the ability and confidence to liaise with all parties both internal and external, including client service skills.
Have excellent office and administration skills
Have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and Word and ability to work in a paperless environment.
