Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer
Location: Home/Field based covering Oxford and surrounding areas
Salary: up to £32,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Package: Excellent Benefits Package, Bonus, Pension, Expenses + much more
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5
Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.Duties include:
Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
