Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice at our nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive learning environment, planning and implementing activities to enhance children's development and completing observations linked to the early years curriculum.
- Interact positively with all nursery users, working in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure all children's individual needs are met.
- Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from your leadership team as required.
- Successfully manage your time to ensure you submit your coursework by the deadlines set by your trainer/assessor.

- A full-time role (37.5 hours a week) working with children under 5 in our nursery, gaining valuable practical childcare experience.
- A varied shift pattern, usually between the hours of 07:15am-18:30pm Monday-Friday.
- 'Off the job' learning time within your working week, supporting your studies.
- A childcare trainer/assessor from our in-house Training Academy of Excellence, visiting you at the nursery on a regular basis to guide and direct you.
- 11 group training sessions, with other apprentices from across our partnership, held at our head office.
What We Offer
- An hourly pay rate of £6.55, increasing to £10 per hour after 6 months and £11.44 per hour after 12 months.
- A 'congratulations' payment of £300 upon successful completion of the level 3 apprenticeship.
