Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with an exclusive wedding & events venue in the Northeast who are looking to recruit an Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager to support with the hands on Management of the events along with supporting the senior management team across the business
For the right candidate the client is offering a starting salary of £26,000 over a 4-day working week with contracted hours of 40. In this role you will also benefit from a share of service charge paid monthly alongside your wages along with staff meals whilst on duty.
We are wanting to speak to candidates who come from either an events background or have a strong hotel restaurant background and are keen to develop and progress their career working in this stunning exclusive venue. You would require transport due to the location of the venue and be available to work evening, weekends & bank holidays as standard although over a 4-day working week.
Role:
Support in the smooth running of events across the estate taking a hands-on approach
Reporting directly to the C&B Manager and supporting the OP’s Manager
Assist in Developing & training the junior staff.
Support in the responsibility for the bar & cellar areas.
Attend weekly meetings with the wedding & events co-ordinators.
Working towards the development of the offering on site and the team
Deal with guest feedback & concernsRequirements:
Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
High levels of attention to detail and motivation of staff
Experience with an events team or hotel restaurant setting
