The Role:
As Senior Site / Project Manager, you'll work within the Commercial Construction Division on a range of exciting new build and refurbishment projects, overseeing the delivery of projects on time and within budget, getting stuck into everything from site set-up and logistics, to programming, sub-contractor management and client liaison.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Coordinate and manage project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement and risk management.
* Provide regular progress updates to the Construction Director and project team.
* Chair project meetings and ensure actions are followed up and completed.
* Monitor and report on project performance and ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and record keeping.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in main contracting Site and/or Project Management, although varying levels of experience are welcomed to apply.
* A strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven organisational and time management skills.
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
* Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree, HND or NVQ in Construction Management qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.
