Do you have a passion for both sales and operations? My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to head up both the sales team and the operations team to deliver incredible events across this fantastic London venue.


We are seeking someone who can think on their feet, be a strong and inspirational leader, while still being hands on with complex clients and events.


About the role:


  • Managing the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Managing the operations team to ensure that all events are delivered to an excellent standard
  • Overseeing budgets and reporting
  • End to end management of high-profile and complex events
  • Pro-active sales and building relationships
  • Working closely with agencies and external suppliers
  • Recruitment, training, and development of the sales & events team
  • Implementing new strategies to drive business


Experience:


  • Previous experience leading a team within an events led company
  • High-volume and premium event experience
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands on leadership, able to develop and enhance skill set of the team
  • Industry awareness
  • Bring innovation, be creative and able to think outside the box
  • Able to work to budget and financial forecasting
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to details
