Company Overview

Loom Talent are exclusively supporting a leading Logistics provider for an experienced Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to join an already impressive, well established operation.


This position has arisen for purely organic reasons due to an internal promotion.


Role Responsibilities

  • Safety and Compliance : Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Facilities Management – To lead the overall site agenda for facilities management whilst developing and coordinating sub-contractor usage and performance.
  • Training - Design and deliver a robust site Training programme ensuring operational procedures are continually adhered to by both new members and long serving members of staff.
  • Strategic Planning: Actively contribute to long-term strategic planning for Health & Safety, Facility Management & Training Programmes, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
  • Team Management: An opportunity to grow into a people leadership role may present itself for the right individual across multi-site operations.
  • Continious Improvement & Automation Expertise: Bring your knowledge of CI & Warehouse Automation to the table, playing a crucial role in maintaining and upgrading our clients semi-automated infrastructure.


Candidate Experience

  • A proven background for 5+ years within Health, Safety & Facilities Management, ideally within a Warehouse or Logistics environment – Essential.
  • A proven Training background across DC operations - Highly Desirable.
  • IOSH & NEBOSH Qualifications - Highly Desirable.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • An individual able to influence key stakeholders, ensuring best practice is adhered to.
  • Commutable to Northampton on a daily basis - Essential.
