Are you looking to manage a team of well-established Quantity Surveyors? Our client are looking for a Managing QS to join them on a permanent basis. Our client offer an extremely competitive salary and benefits package, as well as being hot on progression should the right candidate join their team.
You'll be working in the Segensworth area for a leading M&E contractor on the South Coast. Hybrid working is available dependant on projects.
You'll be overseeing a team of 10-15 surveyors to ensure the Commercial Manager can oversee special/major projects. As a Managing QS, you'd be involved in having an overview of your own projects also.
Requirements:
Essential Skills
* Excellent communication skills
* High degree of personal motivation
* Commercial acumen
* Ability to work as part of a team supporting both the operational team and peer group
* Manage numerous activities across several projects simultaneously
* Outgoing personality essential for dealing directly with clients and their design teams
* Strong negotiation skills
* Flexibility regarding working across all areas of the business, meet the requirements of this challenging position.
* Enterprising, commercial, and planned approach
* Willing and able to take responsibility
* Ability to add value to the role, department, and company as a whole.
This role is commutable from Havant, Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Southampton & Fareham
