About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Boskalis. As a key member of our Commercial Department, you will play a crucial role in providing contractual and commercial support to our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise and assist project management and site teams on contractual requirements and issues
  • Manage and assist with contract communications
  • Attend internal and external progress and commercial meetings
  • Responsible for collecting records, preparing valuations, monthly payment applications, and invoices for our projects
  • Value contract variations and compensation events
  • Assist cost controllers with monthly financial reporting
  • Support the contract manager and estimating team with tender assessments and advice
  • Overview of and assistance with UK insurance and liaison with Head Office Insurance Department
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with 5 to 10 years of experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying and/or RICS qualified preferred but not essential
  • Background in civil engineering, with marine civil engineering experience preferred but not essential
  • Sound knowledge of civil engineering contracts, particularly the NEC suite of contracts
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Ability to integrate into a diverse, often multi-national team and make a meaningful contribution
  • Self-motivated and able to work on their initiative
  • Full UK driving license
