Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in account management, adept at taking ownership of client relationships and projects. You must have excellent communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage and lead multiple high-level projects simultaneously. Experience in media implementation, optimisation, analysis, and reporting, as well as in creative and content development, is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and nurturing long-term strategic relationships.
  • Lead the development of campaigns that meet the client's brief, budget, and strategic goals.
  • Facilitate and lead high-level client meetings, presentations, and discussions.
  • Take full ownership of status reports, contact reports, and client communications.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality work and maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and the agency, ensuring seamless communication and effective collaboration.

Project Management:

  • Oversee and manage multiple complex projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive project execution and address challenges proactively.
  • Constantly look for opportunities to organically grow your accounts
  • Lead budget management, campaign cost tracking, and invoicing with a focus on profitability.
  • Contribute to pitches, playing a key role in winning new business for the agency.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Media:

  • Implementation: Oversee the coordination and execution of comprehensive media plans across multiple channels, including digital, print, and broadcast.
  • Optimisation: Work closely with the Performance Team to ensure media campaigns are optimised for maximum ROI and effectiveness.
  • Analysis: Evaluate media performance and provide clients with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of detailed, insightful reports on campaign performance, trends, and opportunities.

Creative and Content:

  • Development: Lead the briefing process for creative teams, ensuring the development of content and assets that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Coordination: Manage the production of creative materials, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Strategy: Collaborate with the Strategy team to devise creative strategies that resonate with target audiences and drive meaningful engagement.

Requirements and Characteristics:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in an account management or senior role within an advertising agency.
  • Proven leadership and client management skills with a track record of building successful client relationships.
  • Strong project management abilities, with a history of delivering complex campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in media planning, execution, optimisation, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior staff members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ownership of tasks, campaigns, and projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and read client sensitivity and emotion.
  • Reliable and capable of managing client expectations while delivering exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and media planning tools.
