We are supporting in the recruitment of a Facilities Assistant who will have responsibility for supporting in the day to day facilities tasks based in a school setting.
If you have some experience of facilities and operational functions with a keenness and willingness to learn and develop, then this may be the role for you.
Duties:
Assist with maintenance and ad-hoc repairs.
Assist in maintaining the security of school premises, building and grounds.
Assist in maintaining, operating and testing security systems.
Play an active role in the completion of compliance checks.
Supervise contractors on-site.
Setup and supervise events
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) and own transport (Essential)
This role is based across multiple sites and you will be required to work at sites in Canterbury & Dover each week.
Starting immediately as a temp and working weekly until you transfer to a permanent contract, hours will cover 37/week with flexibility to cover those hours between 06.00 and 22.00 although rarely starting and finishing at these times.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
