Mobile caretaker

Equans is looking for a Mobile caretaker to join our team in the Southeast covering Kent and Essex on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26, per annum and benefits package.

What will you deliver? 
As the on-site Cleaner, youll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public. The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive tasks on a wide variety of surfaces, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner. Activities will include:

Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.  Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works. Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator. Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential. please visit

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

These checks typically include:

Identity e.g. Passport, but full list of  employment history (past 3 years) If there are any gaps, then will require HMRC statements for the period in question. right to work status in the UK unspent criminal record. any significant periods (6+ months in the past 3 years) of time spent abroad.

Who are we looking for? 
Previous experience as a cleaner 
Previous experience in a customer facing role 

Good knowledge of Health & Safety / Cleaning requirements

will need a full UK driving licence
