Business Development Manager

We are a successful specialist property lender based in London. Continued growth has led to an opening for a Business Development Manager (Bridge Loans) to focus on originaring new bridge loans, building relationships with brokers and borrowers.
We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can deliver excellent service and relationship management to be a part of our anticipated growth over the next few years.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for originating new loans developing the loan book, maintaining or identifying Brokers and Introducers throughout the country in order to gain referrals for bridging finance.
Ideally the candidate will have the following characteristics although they are not all strictly necessary:
- Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Business Development Manager or Broker within the bridging lending or specialist finance industry
- Relationships with developers/ borrowers
- A background of successful relationship building or client management
- Excellent call handling, listening and communication skills
- Proactive team player - ability to work on own initiative; solo and as part of a team
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the drive to succeed and deliver results
- Candidates are required to hold a full UK Driving License as travel will be required throughout the UK.
