Main Responsibilities:
Undertaking audits of installed equipment and field service effectiveness by visiting customer sites as directed, to determine a mutually satisfactory.
Participation in product/component trials, mainly new product materials and shapes by visiting trial sites globally and measuring the performance of the new material/shape against current material/shape.
This will include organisation of testing, travel, data collection/analysis and report writing.
Attending project meetings and contributing to completion of relevant project paperwork.
Develop a complete understanding of all customer related equipment requirements.
Assist in investigating and developing product improvements and working with Engineering and Production to implement those changes.
Support the Service department in the various regions around the world.
Contribute towards improvement of product Best Practices and Equipment Performance Specifications.
Assist and advise agents of equipment and assembly enhancements to promote efficient integration and performance of company equipment.
Translation of Equipment Requirements to enable a suitable linkage between Engineering and Marketing functions.
Assist with training Sales & Marketing, agents and customers on the features of company equipment and materials.
Development and provision of Technical Sales support to Marketing functions and company/Agents Sales Representatives.
Visit potential customers as directed, world-wide to ensure that systems are operating correctly.
To abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree/Higher National Certificate/Foundation degree in an appropriate technical or scientific discipline.
Working with agents, customers and internal stakeholders.
Producing and reading reports.
Strong MS Office skills: Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel to intermediate level (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables).
Data analysis and presentation.
Able to follow company processes.
International travel.
Hold a full UK driving licence – no travel restrictions.
Knowledge of QA or Agronomy procedures used in fresh produce packing. (Desirable)
Process engineering knowledge. (Desirable)
Product testing and test design. (Desirable)
Product training. (Desirable)
Process improvement. (Desirable)
