Employment Type: Seasonal - Full Time
Salary: £11.95 per hour
Shift Patterns: Mon - Fri / Weekends / Bank Holidays / Days
About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Porter and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, as well as supporting the kitchen team with various tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all kitchen areas are kept clean and sanitized, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces, including washing dishes and equipment.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Disposing of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Receiving and storing deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
- Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Always adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Supporting kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including food plating, and serving.
- Working efficiently and cooperatively as part of a team to meet the needs of the kitchen and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
