We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team at Meadow Bay Villages. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our kitchen area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Receive and store deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- We are looking for positive, friendly, and energetic individuals with a "can do" attitude.
About the Role:
This is a seasonal, full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of £11.44. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
