NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a QA Manager - IT to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced QA Manager - IT who will be responsible for managing the quality assurance processes and team across our IT Domains (Cyber Security, Modern Workplace, Front Office, Infrastructure).
You will work with a QA team to ensure that all products and services meet or exceed the customer’s expectations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, processes, and metrics, and ensuring they are followed throughout the organisation.
To be successful in the role you should have a balance of technical, soft, and management skills to lead a team and ensure that software, products, and services meet high-quality standards.
Every day you will … 
Manage and lead the QA team to ensure that all products, services, and systems meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures, processes, and metrics across the organisation.

Conduct regular quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with established procedures, processes, and metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is built into all processes, services, and products.

Train and develop the QA team on quality assurance processes and procedures.

Monitor and analyse quality trends and data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action plans.

Manage and maintain the organization’s ISO and regulatory certifications.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
A degree or equivalent experience in information technology or related field.

5+ years of experience in quality assurance management.

Experience in implementing and maintaining recognised standards and regulatory certifications.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal guidance.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
