Sales and Operations Coordinator

Role OverviewnWe are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised, and detail-oriented Sales and Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a young, smart individual eager to learn the complexities of our lighting solutions. You will be responsible for the end-to-end order lifecycle, from initial quotations to order processing, ensuring best-in-class customer service and communication.
ResponsibilitiesnProcess enquiries and generate accurate quotes.nManage the entire order lifecycle from initial customer enquiries and requests for quotations (RFQs) to receiving purchase orders.nInput data for new customer accounts.nManage all quotations in our ERP system, including rejecting lost opportunities and accepting received orders.nCreate sales orders for approval by the line manager and finance department.nPrepare draft purchase orders for approval.nCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders (sales, engineering, operations, finance).nCommunicate regularly with clients regarding their order status, production updates, and delivery timelines.nUpdate sales order dates in line with production schedule changes and inform customers accordingly.nShare order acknowledgements.nMaintain accurate customer information in the ERP system.nPeriodically cleanse quotations to align with CRM data for accurate forecasting.nAnalyse all sales and purchase orders to ensure completeness and prevent delays.
RequirementsnHighly organised with strong attention to detail.nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.nStrong analytical and numeric skills.nAbility to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.nExcellent time management skills.nStrong customer service skills.nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.nWillingness to obtain further professional qualifications to develop and improve practices.nDegree or apprenticeship in business studies, sales and operations, or a related field.nMinimum of 2 years of order processing or administrative experience.nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).nExperience with ERP and project management software is beneficial.
