About the role :
Active Care Group is hiring a motivated Support Worker to join our dedicated team, assisting our male client at home and in the community.
This role is to support our male client who has a rare condition called locked-in syndrome is his own home. As a support worker you will be required to assist the client with peg feeding and also a suprapubic catheter.
The client likes to go out in his car in the afternoons, so it is essential that any applicants interested in the afternoon shifts have a valid full UK driving license and are comfortable driving an assisted vehicle.
No previous experience required as full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
When you'll be working:
  • Day shifts available
  • 9am - 10.30am & 11:30am - 3pm / 35 hours per week available
  • Monday to Sunday
  • Part time available
