Carmichael are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join the team on a freelance basis for twelve months on a large infrastructure project based in Carlisle.
Document Controller - To assist BEPDT with the following duties:
Copy, scan and store documents within electronic document management system. (ACONEX)
Check for document accuracy and communicate any required changes with project personnel.
Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows)
Distribute project documentation to internal/external teams.
Control and issue package document Lists (PDL) ensuring all listed documentation is correct.
File documents in physical and digital records.
Retrieve files as requested by project personnel.
Manage the flow of documentation within the organisation.
Create and manage project distribution lists.
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.
Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
Control and maintain redline / as-built documentation in line with project procedures.
Experience of working within a Commissioning Document Control department
Min HNC or equivalent in Business studies or numerate discipline.
Experience may be considered in lieu.
Min HNC or equivalent in Business studies or numerate discipline.
