This is a new position due to considerable growth which will require some travel to other sites. As the People Team BP you will be responsible for the day-to-day key responsibilities of the People team, ensuring KPI’s are set and completed daily/weekly/monthly and management of ER casework is completed within the SLA’s set by the Head of People. You will be on hand to support each of the site’s locations and ensure team projects and initiatives are completed in line with the People Strategic Plans.
The Role-
* Ensure all ER Casework is completed and in line with KPI’s and SLA requirements
* Support and coach the co-ordinators and Advisors within the People Team, ensuring they are supported in ER casework and provide employment law advice where required and in line with Company policies and procedures
* Build a collaborative relationship with the management team and People Team to support the Group’s growth and strategy plans
* Complete site visits, ensuring support to each area of the business is given face to face on a weekly/monthly basis
* Attend any ER hearings in line with the KPI’s and SLA requirements
* Work with and provide guidance to management on managing absence with their teams, ER case handling and completing any necessary training to enable managers to manage their teams effectively
* Complete TUPE, restructures and redundancy projects as and when required
* Complete ER dashboards for monitoring headcount, absence, casework, exit interviews and weekly/monthly reporting
* Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc)
* Complete People Team projects, ensuring this is completed in line with the People Strategy and signed off at each stage
* Manage recruitment across each of the locations, managing the job boards and ensuring the full process from recruitment requisition to offer is completed
·Commit to and take responsibility for continued personal development
·Take responsibility for maintaining evidence of continued personal development
·Attend all relevant training internally and externally
·Share learning experiences with other team members and develop their skills to grow and gain confidence in People activities
·To discuss one’s own development needs with the Line Manager to consistently achieve best practice and continuously improve personal performance
·Willing to pursue further qualifications as deemed necessary within current legislation
·Ensure all KPI’s are met and within SLA’s
* Drive recruitment to ensure we have the best people recruited and retained within the business
* Ensure employment legislative measures are in place at all times
* Complete onboarding processes to support the People Advisor
* Complete mandatory training as and when required
* Ensure policies and procedures are fit for purpose
* Work with the Quality team to ensure compliance with regulatory or quality standard requirements
Assist and support the Head of People as and when required
About you/your experience –
Ideally you will be CIPD Qualified with a generalist background, having a strong focus and solid experience of ER Casework and managing daily stats.
