Senior Planning Manager - Severn Trent Region

Our client, a leading contractor within the UK water sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Manager to oversee critical water projects. This role offers an opportunity to lead and deliver complex projects that will have a lasting impact on the region.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies for large-scale water infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
Analyse project data to identify trends and optimise planning processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planning team members.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Senior Planning Manager within the water or infrastructure sector.
Strong knowledge of planning methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with the Severn Trent region and its specific water infrastructure challenges.
