About The Role
As EYFS Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our early years program. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring that our youngest learners receive the highest quality education, nurturing their curiosity, igniting their passion for learning, and laying the foundation for their future success.
Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the EYFS team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive EYFS curriculum aligned with national standards and tailored to the needs of our diverse student population
  • Assess and track pupil progress, ensuring that each child receives individualized support and reaches their full potential
  • Collaborate effectively with parents and carers to support their child's learning at home
  • Foster a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes creativity, exploration, and a lifelong love of learning

What You Bring To The Table
  • A deep understanding of early years education principles and practices
  • Proven experience leading and managing an EYFS team

Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in EYFS
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
