A new opportunity has arisen for a Talent & Development Specialist to join a Staffordshire-based company on a hybrid basis. The role will report to the Head of People and you will be responsible for designing, improving, and delivering training/development programs to employees to support with enhancing their employee skills. The Talent & Development Specialist will ensure that the workforce develops the skills to support the business needs and to ensure continuous learning and growth throughout the company. Job Description for the Talent & Development Specialist role:
Ensure that early career requirements are met and monitor the ongoing support for learners during their apprenticeships. Identify and address issues that may arise during apprenticeships.
Provide support plans for the early careers framework
Support outcomes from workforce planning by implementing personal development plans
Upskill the existing workforce
Lead the design, implementation, and evaluations of learning and development programmes to enhance the skills of all employees
Ensure Training Needs Assessments are carried out and work with the T&D Business Partner to ensure there is a budget to fulfil the request
Use appropriate analytics to target the delivery of development programmes to employees
Ensure course evaluations through the Learning Management System are completed to identify future learning demands
Monitor the performance of external learning providers for mandatory training and identify areas for improvement
Attend career fairs when required
Monitor and update all Talent and Development Policies Requirements for the Talent & Development Specialist role:
Minimum of 3 years of experience within HR / Talent and Development
Ability to present information and training to various groups including senior management
Experience using a Learning Management System
Have facilitated learning needs analysis, talent matrix, and gap analysis
GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
CIPD Level 5 in L&D or working towards, or must have an equivalent qualification
Be able to work outside normal office hours when required
Must have own vehicle with business insurance, as you will be required to travel to various sites and training venues
Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines Hours:  Monday – Friday 37 hours per week  
Salary:  £33,526 Per Annum
