BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
BURY – HYBRID - £30k PLUS UNCAPPED COMMISSION
Are you an experienced Business Development Representative from IT or Telecoms, looking for a work culture where you can grow and suceed?
Working in an Investors in People Gold organisation ensures you will be fully enabled and continually developed on a career path in line with your future plans. This role is pivotal within the company, and you will receive all the support you need to succeed.
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for understanding marketing campaigns and sales strategies and be able to deliver qualified sales leads as well as making and setting up qualified sales meetings, securing attendees to Webinars and attending exhibitions. The Business Development Representative will report to the Head of Client Acquisition to support the go to market and marketing strategy. They will also work closely with the Sales Director, Sales Managers & Marketing team to work on all campaigns designed to drive the progress of key growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Meeting with senior management teams within the business and the marketing team to discuss sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
* Meeting and exceeding opportunity generation targets and KPI’s
* Creating qualified leads by engaging with incoming prospects across channels (LinkedIn, Tele-sales, paid ads, email campaigns) to progress them through to the sales team.
* Updating and managing opportunities in CRM
* Working in collaboration with Sales Managers to develop new/untapped opportunities.
* Working closely with the marketing team to ensure strategies are aligned with sales objectives.
* Monitoring performance against daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets.
Essential
* Experience and understanding of the IT or Communications industry.
* 2 years + proven track record in B2B sales or business development
* A verifiable history of exceeding personal targets
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Be able to use Microsoft Office suite
* Have experience of using Linkedin
* Accountability and commitment to attain goals.
* The Ability to multitask.
* The ability to perform day to day tasks with minimal supervision.
* The Ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong organisational skills.
Salary is up to £30K but in addition to this you will be paid £50 per sat appointment and 3% of Gross Profit from every sale. Based on current figures from team members, this equates to an additional £20K per year in earnings.
This is an excellent role to spring board into a more senior sales role, recent teams members are now Account Managers or BDMs.
