Tempest Education are working with a primary school in the Dagenham area who are looking for a SEN primary teacher who can work with a group of 4-5 children and two other adults.
This primary school in Dagenham believes in nurturing young minds and inspiring greatness. They are a close knit community of pupils, parents, teachers and staff. They believe in a strong sense of belonging and support. The school has a culture of striving for excellence in every child.
The SEND primary teacher role is a temporary position for a teacher looking for a fixed working week, 5 days a week, full time until the summer with some late nights for CPD training and parents evenings etc.
If you believe you are the ideal SEND primary teacher you will have:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification.
A valid DBS and successful vetting/safeguarding checks.
UK classroom experience in teaching pupils with complex ASD and challenging behaviour.
Previous experience in EYFS as a classroom teacher.
Need to be creative, patient, understanding and calm.
Experience in highy adaptive curriculum's including sensory support
