About the job :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project/Program Manager with expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes

The Senior Program Manager will lead and drive the creation of a Hybrid Compute Grid for Quantitative Researchers in one of the world's most successful hedge funds. This role involves working closely with the client to define the roadmap, build a global team, and execute the program. We are looking for experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Data Science, and unified compute frameworks. An understanding of the product domain is helpful.

Requirement:

  • Demonstrated proficiency as a Program Manager
  • The ideal candidate with a strong background in Hedge Funds background.
  • Excellent with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes
  • Excellent with Data Science or compute frameworks (ray.io or slurm)
  • Experience with Google Professional Service Funding preferred.
  • Strong understanding of product development and enablement
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as this role involves liaising with multiple stakeholders, including the client and external partners.
  • Proven ability to create and manage program roadmaps, budgets, and timelines.
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation.
  • Leadership skills to build and mentor a global team of engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
