The Job This is a true People Generalist and Partnership role, reporting to the Chief People & Transformation Officer (CP&TO) delivering transactional and transformational people partnership to key business areas as well as continuing the building and embedding of an operational and strategic People Team in the Procentia group. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation and People Team where you can get involved in designing and implementing People activities for the full employee experience. You will help align and ensure the delivery of the People strategy and projects in your business area’s goals and overall company goals. This role will be both hands on and strategic covering People processes, policies, full employee lifecycle, employee relations, immigration, annual projects, people change projects, engagement, career development, wellbeing and retention activities, payroll, benefits, developing line managers and getting involved in coaching and building career paths. You’ll also be a fundamental sounding board for your stakeholders, being a confidential resource for employees and leaders to discuss concerns, brainstorm solutions, and navigate complex situations. Here's What You'll Be Doing To provide effective and evidence-based People solutions, support and advice to your dedicated business area, and wider organisation when required, to enable the business to deliver its people strategy, address its people challenges and contribute towards Procentia being an employer of choice. Build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including ExCo, SLT and Department Managers, who you may need to persuade and influence. Deliver a people centred partnership experience which has a human touch and is compliant with legislation, policies and best practice for Procentia. Take a key role in setting up operational excellence (policies, processes, workflows, data collection and documentation) in the People function. With support from the CP&TO when required, lead complex and transformational People projects to deliver effective business outcomes in your business area or support with this project across the group. A key focus for this role will be supporting resource planning and attraction strategies for the business areas. Working directly with the TA Partner ensuring accurate quality measures and positive onboarding. Get under the skin of any current or potential people challenges and opportunities and support the CP&TO in implementing commercial and engaging solutions to drive performance, profitability and employee engagement and retention. Resulting in a great employee experience. Key Skills And Experience Proven experience in a People Ops role. Employee relations experience. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice. Effective relationship builder with internal client/stake holders. Detailed oriented, organised and capable of managing multiple tasks. Desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future Ability to work in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment. Worked within a technical/software business. A self-starter who can react effectively to opportunities or issues. Keen on personal and professional development & embraces change – seeks feedback and reacts / learns from experience.
