**Title**: People Business Partner **Salary**: Up to £55k with £10.5k car allowance **Location**: Based in Bristol Our Client, a parcel delivery organisation, is looking for a People Business Partner to enhance their service. Role Purpose: To provide a full Human Resource consultancy service to assigned business areas through expert knowledge and effective action plans. Responsible for providing pro-active solutions and reactive advice to help assigned areas achieve their business targets. **Some key tasks and areas of responsibility**: - Implement a clear "People" strategy for each assigned area which is aligned to and supports the business area strategy. - To actively engage in an enabling relationship with key business partners and line managers, engendering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. - To be seen as a part of the business unit team, actively participating in meetings and projects and building relationships through visibility and availability. - The provision of timely and accurate advice to managers within all business units on all "People" issues (Human Resources). - Provide training and coaching to line managers in the skills they require to effectively manage their teams, in line with the company culture, to achieve the best performance possible. - Fundamental understanding of how the business unit works and develop a strategy within that unit. - Support Assessment Centres for recruitment or development purposes. - Working with other resources in People & Talent Dept. to develop knowledge and a strategy. - Demonstrate a good level of commercial awareness and knowledge of issues affecting individual areas; keep knowledge up to date by spending focused time with the business. **Measures of success**: - Labour turnover figures. - Absence figures. - Recruitment - Time to fill / Number of vacancies / external spend / cost - Employee Satisfaction survey results and completion of action plans. - Progress against People strategies for individual areas. - Feedback from key business partners. - Area business targets - i.e stop costs, performance challenge. %MCEPASTEBIN%%MCEPASTEBIN%
