This full-time role operates from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, with an annual salary of up to £28,000.
Requirements for the Role: A valid driving license, access to personal transport, and prior forklift experience are indispensable.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Transport equipment to and from the washing area.
Prepare equipment for washing by removing necessary components.
Utilise a jet wash to clean equipment to a suitable standard before moving it to the workshop location.
Uphold health and safety standards consistently.
Complete assigned tasks within the specified time frame.
Perform spray painting of equipment if required.
Basic computer work is necessary for task completion.
Pick orders and handle loading/unloading of vehicles.
Manage the yard, ensuring items are in their designated locations.
Maintain a flexible approach to working hours, as early starts may be required due to the nature of the construction industry.
Control stock, ensuring it is appropriately located, and conduct regular stock takes.
Generate depot transfer notes for stock movement between depots.
Check off equipment returned from hire and manage it accordingly.
Assess and report necessary work on equipment sent in by customers for refurbishment; submit reports to HQ for pricing.
Keep warehouses regularly swept and tidy.
Work collaboratively in a team, fostering a positive team attitude.
Adhere to Health & Safety requirements.
