Duties will include:Liaise with the Estimating Team to ensure timeframes are achieved for the technical and commercial elements of bids.Take the lead on tenders with the SWW representativesLead in tender bid settlementsWork within a small pre-construction teamLiaise with design managers or lead the pre-construction design process depending on the project size and complexity.Liaising with other teams – Managing Estimator & Estimating team, Construction delivery teams, Design Managers, Planning Manager.Lead bids and take responsibility for - client liaison during bid, technical bid submissions, lead bid settlement meetings with appropriate director. What we will need from youAs well as at least 5 years in a Pre-Construction or Bid role, it would be great if you also had the following:Experience working for a Major Contractor and / or Framework experienceBSc Hons in construction related subject (Desirable)Personable with excellent communication skills.Able to think quickly on their feet and adapt to situation.
