My client is a dynamic consultancy firm based Avon, with a team of 30 dedicated professionals. Our consultancy specializes in delivering tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate complex challenges and achieve their business goals. We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Director to join our team on a part-time basis to steer our financial strategy and operations.
As our Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial health. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide strategic financial guidance, ensuring the long-term sustainability and profitability of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking to contribute to a growing consultancy while enjoying flexible working arrangements.
Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the company's objectives.
Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.
Lead the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and efficiency.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
Mentor and support the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
Competitive salary circa 70k pro rata.
