We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Ground Engineer to join our Ground Assessment team to work across our Energy Sector. We’re looking for someone to help shape our ground engineering services (geotechnical and geo-environmental), deliver technical outputs, and support the growth of our team.
You will play a fundamental role within projects to identify innovative and sustainable solutions, plan technical delivery and lead the multidisciplinary team from concept stage through to final implementation. You will work alongside the Project Manager and within a collaborative ground engineering team to deliver best value and client service excellence.

About You
You will be degree-qualified in a relevant engineering subject (e.g. geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, geology or a related subject). Chartered status would be an advantage. You will have experience of delivering Geotechnical assessment and design projects and have a strong understanding of UK & Ireland geology & geotechnical / geo-environmental principles. Exposure to the energy sector would also be beneficial.
You will also be experienced in fostering new & existing stakeholder relationships and have proven experience in all phases of geotechnical investigations, from planning and execution to data analysis and report writing.
You will ideally have proficiency in geotechnical engineering software (e.g., SLOPE/W, PLAXIS).
This position offers the right person an excellent opportunity to take up a key role in a strong, growing, collaborative team in delivering high-quality services, providing superior client service and developing new business.
