Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in North West England. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and suppliers on quality and inspection issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive contract reviews to establish quality oversight arrangements.
  • Communicate project quality requirements and standards to suppliers.
  • Provide inspection oversight and advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in or carry out inspections and supervision of manufacturing or construction work.
  • Assess inspection reports and identify corrective actions.
  • Monitor and trend quality performance using performance indicators.
  • Implement lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess supplier capabilities and participate in supply chain audits.
  • Contribute to project meetings and subcontractor pre-contract meetings.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quality Control Engineer.
  • Experience in major projects and delivering lifetime quality records.
  • Ability to offer guidance on contract specifications.
  • Understanding of quality grading systems.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CSWIP 3.2 or PCN Level II Welding Inspector certification.
  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship program in Machined Parts.
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship program in Electrical/Instrumentation.
  • Certification as a CSWIP/ICORR Level II Painting Inspector.
  • Hold PCN Level II certification.
  • Pass the NDT Eye Exam (S04868).
