Wedo is working with a software powerhouse, that builds enterprise-grade software solutions that are told to tier 1 and tier 2 insurers globally. Their software and enterprise products leverage SaaS, Cloud, Data Management, Analytics as well as Machine Learning and AI and is built with Angular front end, with C# .NET Core Microservices hosted on Azure..nThey are now looking for a Lead QA Engineer who’s experience in managing SaaS solutions hosted in the Cloud.

This is a SaaS Cloud project using Infra as code to develop a hosted solution that wraps on Azure. Therefore, we need someone who has excellent knowledge and understanding of SaaS and how to leverage services in the cloud.

The test effort is low level API, component and integration testing. Previous hands-on experience in API testing and applying test pyramid techniques to a complex system is a must. Hands on in lower levels (unit testing) not required, but experience in knowing how to apply testing at that level to mitigate risk will be needed.

Experience of enterprise software testing - complex systems, integration testing, non-functional testing around disaster recovery, resilience, failovernMinimum - hands on experience in at least 1 OOP language, and 1 scripting language. Hands on should equate to building test solutions, maintaining build/test pipelines at the code level.

Leadership experiencenWe need someone who can come in with confidence and authority to be able to win over the team and drive forward QA improvements as you'll operate as the Sole QA in the team.nNeeds to be able to coach/mentor developers to deliver the QA strategy for the project - this will require a level of hands on knowledge relevant to the tech stack to ensure authenticitynYou will operate as the sole Lead QA Engineer for this team, however, be part of a larger QE community of practice of 60+ QE folk.nYou will coach, and mentor 3 other QA Engineers who are part of another product family.
