Job summary
We are recruiting for a Course Tutor/Clinical Psychologist to join our Centre for Psychological Health within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, linked to the University of Oxford Department of Experimental Psychology.
You will plan, co-ordinate and monitor training activity of the DClinPsych and carry primary responsibility for the planning, coordination and monitoring of placements, research or academic components related to working with people with intellectual disabilities for doctoral students at the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health.
This is a part-time role ( 22.5 hours per week) based at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford, with some home working.
We are particularly interested in applicants with an interest in CBT and Systemic/Family therapy. If you want to be part of our fast-growing, dynamic and friendly team delivering academic excellence in the field of clinical psychology, we would love to hear from you
Please note we will consider 8a preceptorship applications for this role.
Interviews for this position will be held on 24 and 25 October in Oxford.
Main duties of the job
  • Plan organise and coordinate key aspects of the DClinPsych Training Programme
  • Teach individuals and help them reach their full potential
  • Work with the team to support development of the service
  • Work with the lead for the People with Experience Group (PEG) to integrate personal experience matters throughout curriculum
  • Keep up-to-date with knowledge of legislation, national and local policies
