Responsibilities:
The Assistant Quality Manager will need experience in leadership roles and a thorough understanding of core quality tools. They will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced Tier 1 environment. Additionally, they must be skilled in developing and maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction, lead and facilitate quality improvements resolving issues and lead to the achievement of successful PPAP. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Responsible for ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced Tier 1 environment.nLead and facilitate quality improvements resolving issues and lead to the achievement of successful PPAP.nDevelop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirementsnProvide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams to improve quality and reliability of products.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.nResponsible for supplier quality assessments and audits to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the supply chain.nResponsible for a team of 5 (Senior Quality Engineers, Supervisors, Supplier Eng, Metallurgist)
Skills and attributes:
Degree qualified (relevant i.e. Engineering/Manufacturing) – DesirablenStrong understanding of Core Quality Tools (APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA and PPAP)nProficient in and learning the Business Operating Systems (IATF 16949)nExperience in an automotive / high volume manufacturing environmentnProblem Solving Skills – 8D / Six SigmanIATF / TS16949 Internal Auditor
Shift:nMon-Thu (8:30am-5pm) Friday (8:30am-2pm)nHours: 37.5 hours per week
