ole:nReporting to the Credit Manager, as a Credit Control Clerk you will be responsible for managing your own set of the company's customer accounts ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt, while also supporting your fellow colleagues in the Credit Team and wider Finance Team. The role is fast paced and varied, and you will be working towards targets set between you and your manager. The department boasts a friendly team atmosphere and excellent staff retention. ities:nResponsible for your own set of customer acncounts.Maintain regular communication with customers to build positive relationships and ensure payment commitments anre met.Opening and closing customer acncounts.Credit Checking accounts and agreeing paymentnterms.Dealing with customer invoice and payment qnueries.Proactively chasing debts by phone/email of varyingnvalues.Issuing late payment lnetters.Initiating any legal action required to the Credit Control Mnanager.Weekly/Monthly Aged Debtor rneviews.Cash posting and allocation of receipts from cunstomersUnallocated cashnreview.Amending customer credit limits when renquired.Stay informed about relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices related to credit control and debt collnection.General office adminnduties.Providing support to the wider finance team as

Ideally you w

ill have:nPrevious experience of credit control and account receivablenprocesses.Previous experience of completing volume workloads and meetinng targets.A proactive and results-driven approach to credint control.A track record of clearing outstandning debts.Strong attention to detail andnaccuracy.Excellent communication and relationship building skills both with internal and externalncustomers.A fair, friendly and team player attitude townards work.A passion for customers and delivering outstanding customenr service.The ability to work well independently and self-directed, as well as partnof a team.Excellent numerancy skills.Confident with basic Microsoft Exncel tasks.A Chartered Institute of Credit Management qualification (CICM) would be an
