About the role:
We're hiring a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with expertise in managing challenging behaviours to join our dedicated team, integral to our commitment to inclusive education and personalized student support.
This role is a new addition aimed at enhancing support for SEN students, focusing on behavior management strategies. You'll primarily work with small groups across Key Stages 1 and 2, with class sizes averaging 20 students, ensuring personalised attention and tailored learning experiences.
Application Requirements:
• Relevant experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and a proactive approach to supporting students’ emotional well-being.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCO and classroom teachers.
• Providing targeted support to students with challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and external specialists to monitor progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
• Promoting social and emotional development through structured interventions and mentoring.
