About the role: This full-time, long-term role is perfect for an SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in managing challenging behaviours. Starting in September 2024, you’ll work closely with Key Stage 1 and 2 students, many of whom have EHCPs. The role involves supporting individual learning plans, fostering positive relationships with pupils, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure every child thrives. Application Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviours.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Engage with parents to support their child’s learning and development.
