Position: Material stock controllernDepartment: Warehouse & Equipment Supply

As a pivotal part of the team you will manage the stock in our warehouse ensuring that the ordering, distribution and reconciliation of stock is managed effectively within the operation. Forecasting anticipated stock requirements through effective management of the ordering and delivery schedule, establishing minimum and maximum stock levels by season utilising appropriate systems as required.nOn a daily basis you will ensure that all work is completed according to daily work schedules and that all information received is communicated to the right people in a timely manner.nEnsuring compliance to legislative, customer and company standards is paramount. You will maintain best practice and review and monitor processes and action changes as necessary.nYou will pride yourself on delivering a 5* service with a focus on delivering results, whilst maintaining our high standards dealing with any stock issues / queries in a timely manner, escalating any matters which cannot be resolved to the relevant manager.

What you’ll be doing:

Place orders with nominated suppliers in line with purchasing policies and proceduresnMaintain good working relationships with suppliersnFollow up on delivery queries, shortages etc. with suppliersnProvide forecast volume information on productsnKeep the operation informed on product issuesnCarry out investigations into delivery failures and put corrective actions into placenCarry out stock takes as necessary and use information to manage ordering levelsnCarry out necessary equipment checks on offloaded equipment from aircrafts and collate and supply to airlines the necessary reportsnHighlight any shelf-life issues to the operations teamnLiaise with the operations regarding menu and product changes promptlynEnsure information is entered correctly onto relevant systems and deal with discrepanciesnReconcile theoretical and physical stock levelsnEnsure any quality issues are resolved with minimal impact on the customernEnsure period end stock takes are correctly completed and entered onto relevant systemsnManage wastage and stock holdings in line with company and airlines set targetsnEnsure all goods are received in line with due diligence and compliance targets
