Teaching Personnel is partnering with a specialist Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health school located in the serene area of Pilning, Severn Beach, near the Severn Bridge. This school is conveniently commutable from Chepstow and Caldicot (though not via public transport). Serving students from Key Stage 2 up to 18 years old, the school provides a supportive environment with high staff-to-student ratios and small class sizes.
Outdoor and creative learning are integral to the school's approach. You'll find a classroom nestled in the woods, raised beds and a poly tunnel for gardening, and top-notch sports facilities.
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join us full-time, starting as soon as possible or in September if you need to serve notice. For the right candidate, we can offer a flexible schedule of 3 to 4 set days per week, allowing for a job share. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with an option to work an additional hour until 4:30 PM. The position starts on a temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent after 16 weeks. The pay rate is £12.90 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
