Business Development Manager (BDM) Enterprise - Public Sector

Location: Remote (Office based in Cirencester)nPay: Up to 75K base Salary X 2 (£150K OTE)nModel: Hybrid - 2 times a week in the office is ideal, but negotiable for the right candidate

Role Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will engage consultatively with clients to understand their security and business challenges. Using their knowledge and experience, the BDM will propose innovative solutions and services that enhance clients' security capabilities, maturity, and investment priorities.

Key ResponsibilitiesnOversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, including proposal writing and coordination with the technical team.nCollaborate with Product Management and Marketing to refine value propositions and go-to-market strategies.nAchieve and exceed sales targets.nApproach public sector customers, understanding key stakeholders and buying cycles.nCommunicate effectively with various stakeholders, articulating both technical and non-technical concepts.nDeliver confident pitches and build strong relationships.nDemonstrate strong written communication skills, particularly in proposal writing.nProactively manage multiple projects and pitches, setting up new sales processes as needed.nSell highly technical products with confidence and clarity.

Core ResponsibilitiesnMeet and exceed revenue targets.nProspect individually to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.nUse established sales methodologies to understand customer needs and develop solutions.nConduct market and competitor analysis.nMaintain detailed CRM records and develop strong forecasting capabilities.

Ideal Candidate ProfilenAt least 5 years of sales experience.nExtensive experience in winning clients within a Cyber Security company.nExperience with selling to Public Sector clients, ideally including the NHSnProven track record of exceeding sales quotas.nExperience with deal sizes of £100k+.nExcellent relationship-building skills.nFamiliarity with long sales cycles.nProactive in seeking new business opportunities.nCapable of articulating a clear strategic approach to winning new business at the Enterprise level.nMEDDIC/MEDDPICC trained is a nice to have
