Morson Talent are delighted to be working with our client who are a leading organisation in the Manufacturing industry who are looking to bring in an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Sales team covering the North West and West Yorkshire areas. This is a remote position with an expectation to be out on the road visiting clients in your designated area on a regular basis. You will be required to attend their office in Greater Manchester one day per week. 
Responsibilities
Prospect for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, by establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with these potential customers that will generate new and profitable business growth
To manage with the Regional Sales and Commercial Director the final commercial and contract negotiations for any major deal opportunities.
Maintain working, buying and market platforms and report monthly sales dashboard, new business success, sales in new products or services.
Building a Value Added Proposal for each of you potential new customers.
Participate as an executive member in regional sales meetings.
To define the annual sales budget for your assigned market.
Follow and sustain the Group´s Management System relating to sales and commercial activity
Comply with the communication and reporting procedures defined within the commercial & marketing organization for securing a perfect alignment with all stakeholders. Use the business information systems of the company, to ensure maximum reliability of reporting for sound decision making.
To actively participate in your own training program definition and implementation, supporting new training initiatives and reporting any detected skills that would need to be reinforced for your own benefit
Thoroughly understand the competitive landscape including performance, features, pricing, customer satisfaction, and future trends related to his/her assigned potential customers. To share this knowledge back to the business for helping in the definition of the best fit-for-purpose Value Added Proposal for these potential customers
