About the Role:

The company's strategic objectives are based around adding value to the customer and offering high-quality food products.
These are new positions being created in the business and provide an exciting opportunity for passionate driven foodies to join a well-established successful business.
Key Skills:
Every role requires the candidate to be driven, ambitious and able to develop customer relationships. As an experienced salesperson, they will be negotiating contracts with new and existing customers, maximising opportunities and developing new business. They will be working closely with our customers, but also fellow team members to monitor the market, the product range and our competitors. Their role will also involve working closely with our manufacturing sites based abroad, travelling to the sites when required, as well as potentially travelling throughout the U.K.
Personal Profile:
- Proven successes/experience as an NAM/BDM with the Foodservice Sector
- Ability to build close relationships with key contacts to create sustainable joint business plans.
- A strong communicator, being able to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels both inside and outside of the organisation.
- The ability to analyse and deal with complex scenarios and present solutions in a simple and effective manner.
- Commercially aware, being able to convey information to clients to suit their needs and requirements.
- Resilient and tenacious with the ability to work on own initiative to problem solve.
- An ability to deal with a variety of tasks whilst delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Extensive ability with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Numerical.
- Identifying new business opportunities and detailing and overcoming competitor activity.
- Pricing negotiation: a keen negotiator, being able to think on their feet and adapt to change.
