Head of Content Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Content on behalf of our client, to lead their dynamic content team. The ideal candidate will possess unparalleled experience in content strategy, creation, and management, with a robust background in both agency and in-house environments. This is a pivotal role, working closely with directors to ensure the highest level of effectiveness and innovation in all projects.
Head of Content Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the agency’s marketing goals and client needs.
Oversee a portfolio of content projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Collaborate with directors and other senior stakeholders to maximise the impact of all content initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of content creators, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the agency’s content offerings at the forefront of the market.
Ensure all content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SEO, design, and social media to ensure cohesive and effective content campaigns.
Manage relationships with clients, attending meetings and presenting strategies and results as required.
Head of Content Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior content role within both agency and in-house settings.
Extensive knowledge of content strategy, creation, and management across various platforms.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong project management abilities with a track record of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
In-depth understanding of SEO, social media, and digital marketing trends.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while being flexible to travel to client sites when necessary.
