**Head of Content THG Nutrition** - **Myprotein**
**Location: THG HQ Manchester (WA15 0AF)**
**Job Overview**:
The role of Head of Content involves leading our editorial mission, vision, and voice, and developing and implementing content strategies, aligning editorial and business goals, while supervising staff and budgets. In addition, they oversee the planning and production of written, video, and audio content across social, app, web, print and other platforms. The Head of Content also develops new business opportunities that allow the business to monetise, expand, and promote content.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Lead and inspire the development of first-class content by the content team along with other production means inclusive of blogs, video, infographics, podcasts, guides and commercial copy in order to ensure optimal delivery of content to target audiences across multiple channels.
- Development and optimisation of the content department. Ensures that the business's narratives and message are in support of the content strategies and editorial decisions that are formulated.
- Oversees the development and management of the business's brand tone of voice standards and content style guides. Ensures consistency of brand voice and messaging across all channels, maintaining brand integrity and relevance to target audiences.
- Develop and oversee an integrated content strategy that encompasses channel selection and focus, editorial governance, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the business's overall objectives.
- Designing and implementing measurement systems that actively measure, manage, optimise and communicate the performance of the content put out by the business against the business's operational objectives and strategies.
- Being in tune with technological advancements and current affairs for production of content.
- Expands and oversees content tools and processes in order to facilitate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making for the business's content.
- Collaborates closely with marketing, sales, product, and other teams to ensure alignment and integration of content initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging best practices in content marketing, incorporating insights into content strategies and tactics.
**What we're looking for**:
- Working with the wider team such as Editorial Content, Web Content, Video and App content.
- Improve content offering on the app experience
- Video social channel and experience working with social media such as TikTok, Instagram and Youtube
- Understanding on how to make engaging content, which is inspiring and educational to our users and customers.
- Web content experience and a basic understanding with HTML, CSS and UX design
- Oversee key brand channels and ensure all creative and communication are in line with brand and communication guidelines
- Experience on social organic content or fitness content advantageous
