As a Guest Safety Supervisor, you will ensure exemplary standards of Guest Safety and Guest Service are provided to the guests at all times. Team building and staff morale will be a priority of the position. The Guest Safety Supervisor will be expected to positively contribute to the performance, growth and profitability of the business.

The Guest Safety Supervisor is accountable to the Guest Safety Manager for the support, management and delivery of Guest Safety. This will include compliance, statutory, contractual and company regulations and processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

This role will be varied and will include, but not be limited to:

  • To support and deputise for the Guest Safety Manager in the operational management and delivery of all manned security.
  • Focus the Guest Safety team on providing excellent guest service to all guests
  • Control and deliver the rotas ensuring correct manning levels and compliance are maintained at all times.
  • Manage staff attendance records in line with company procedures.
  • Motivate and monitor the team to achieve the highest possible standards of service delivery.
  • Maintain standards of performance, discipline and welfare for the team in accordance with company policies.
  • Understand all requirements and provide security solutions to meet and exceed needs.
  • To manage excellent relationships with internal departments, our suppliers and other partners.
  • To support the Guest Safety Manager in recruitment, development and training of staff.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supporting the Guest Safety Manager in the continuous review and implementation of security management best practice into the team.
  • Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events.
  • To ensure that records are held and updated as required.
  • To deliver the security operation within the approved budgetary framework.
  • To work closely with stakeholder organisations to deliver the centres crime prevention policy.
  • Support Guest Safety Manager in operational HR responsibilities to recruit, retain and develop the security team.
  • Work with HR to ensure all new starters are inducted, trained and licensed in accordance to the con and requirements.
  • To ensure objectives, performance reviews and Toolbox Talks are completed as per company policy.
  • To identify training needs and ensure accurate site records are maintained at all times.
  • To reduce labour turnover by proactively managing people issues in co-operation with other internal departments.
  • Ensure that all company communications are cascaded to team members in a timely manner as and when required.
  • Attend departmental meetings as required.
  • Embrace a collaborative learning culture with your team and the wider business.
  • Assist senior management as requested.
