Elite Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile All-Round Business Administrator with Sage experience for our client based in Sutton Coldfield.

9am 5pm working hours with 1 hour for lunch

This role is crucial for maintaining smooth administrative operations and providing comprehensive support across various functions.

Key Responsibilities: for The Business Administrator

Reception and Communication: for The Business Administrator

  • Answering inbound calls professionally and directing them appropriately.
  • Monitoring the admin email folder and responding to emails promptly and effectively.

Financial Administration: for The Business Administrator

  • Raising Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Credit Notes using Sage Line 50 accounts package.

Visitor and Facility Management: for The Business Administrator

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional reception.
  • Booking hotels, car parking, and passes for staff and visitors.
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory to support daily operations.

Meeting and Event Coordination: for The Business Administrator

  • Organising meeting requirements, including arranging refreshments and necessary preparations.

Procurement and Order Management: for The Business Administrator

  • Obtaining quotes and placing orders for various office needs, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

General Team Assistance: for The Business Administrator

  • Providing general administrative support to the team as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Skills and Qualifications for The Business Administrator:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Familiarity with Sage Line 50 or similar accounting software is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
