Avocet Legal Careers is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a successful, friendly, and established law firm located in the heart of Crediton.

With a reputation for providing first-class legal advice, our client prides themselves on delivering high-quality personal legal services tailored to individual client needs, maintaining a traditional one-to-one relationship with their clients.

Private Client Paralegal Responsibilities:
  • Draft and execute wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
  • Advise clients on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
  • Manage probate and estate administration
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive legal services

Private Client Paralegal Requirements:
  • An experienced Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years' experience in private client work
  • Strong Private Client knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex legal matters in simple terms
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in relevant legal software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service
